The Equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington, Glasgow stands outside Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art and has become one of the city’s most famous landmarks. While the statue itself dates back to 1844, it’s best known for the traffic cone that locals keep placing on the Duke’s head - a playful tradition that started in the 1980s. Even when the cone is removed, another quickly appears, turning the monument into a symbol of Glasgow’s humour and rebellious spirit.
This bold scent represents the people who keep the humour alive! It opens with fresh clary sage and bright Calabrian bergamot spark the opening with a clean, aromatic lift, sharpened by the subtle heat of cracked black pepper. As the fragrance deepens, a richly textured leather heart emerges—smooth, confident, and undeniably seductive—wrapped in the mysterious warmth of grey amber and the rugged elegance of Scottish cedar and cypress.
