Dundee Marmalade traces its roots back to the late 18th century when it was first created by Janet Keiller, a resourceful Dundonian grocer’s wife. The story goes that in 1797, a Spanish ship carrying Seville oranges found itself stranded in the port of Dundee due to adverse weather conditions. Keiller, recognising an opportunity, purchased the entire cargo of bitter Seville oranges at a bargain price. Determined not to let them go to waste, she decided to transform them into a preserve.
Indulge in the essence of Dundee's renowned marmalade legacy with this exquisite fragrance. A harmonious blend of sweet, zesty Cara Cara and bitter Seville oranges, enriched with a splash of freshly squeezed Bonnie Brae lemon juice and a sprinkle of brown sugar, captures the nostalgic aroma of Dundee marmalade. Experience the uplifting burst of citrus warmth that envelops your senses, transforming any space into a haven of comfort.
